Text-to-image models generate flat raster images. The text they generate is often hallucinated, buttons are just colored rectangles you can't click, and you cannot move a single element. If you need to change a headline, you have to regenerate the entire image and hope for the best.

A Large Design Model is a generative AI system that outputs layered data like JSON instead of just pixel data.
As a true design generator, it understands that a card consists of an image, a headline, a subtext, and a CTA button. It knows that the CTA button needs to align with the text branding.
LDM employs custom diffusion models and multimodal architectures. LDM starts by understanding the content (text and assets) as well as the user-provided brand details, transforming them into a JSON representation.
The composer takes the representation JSON, adds styles and preferences, and produces a layered design as JSON.
The composition JSON is then passed onto the SVG Rendering Engine, where the color generator enhances the composed design with brand colors.
This layered design, enhanced with colors, can then be further customized using the design editor.

I like how the prompt wizard is created. Generate process is cool. I like the approach when you actually see what is going on, instead of looking at some spinner for X minutes and be not sure if it is still processing or it is freezing. Simple and easy to use Edit mode. This is really cool product.
